Closing up shop

It’s been a while since I’ve updated this blog, and I think it’s time to let it go.

It was a great experience and it got far more attention than I expected, but it never really met that goal of “bridging mindfulness with modernity.” And honestly, my desire to update it has plummeted as I’ve moved on to other things.

If  you want to keep following me, you can jump over to my new blog/website at I’ll be posting about tech there, as well as more day-to-day things. I’ll also be sharing some of my DJ mixes, photos, and more of my writing there. For subscribers, I even went old school and added an RSS feed. I’m planning to keep this website up until November, but will start forwarding requests after it goes offline.

I came across an article about the lack of interest in open source software among younger programmers. And while I think it’s an important topic and worth discussing, I think the article misses a few important points about who millennials are, how we were affected by changes in computing and why so few of us seem to care about open source.
